max hp on collins baby board
yes the cams must be wild and ports wide .but the prossesor of the l8 ecu is not the best as we know difficult works up 440 safe .so wha the baby board doing ?is like paralil ecu helps ?

Whoever told you that was talking rubbish I'm afraid. The baby boards fitted by most tuners do nothing more than decrypt the encrypted eprom they fitted. It adds no functionality and has no effect on power levels. Ive mapped plenty of YB's Reving to 8200rpm with over 600BHP On a nice standard L8. And at 440bhp they certainly don't need wild cams or big ported heads as you have been told either. In fact, the standard head will do 500bhp on the right turbo.

There is still life in the old L8. The only down side is lack of genuine sensors to go with it hence why people are going for aftermarket ecu's.
I like how a cossie drives on a weber ecu its raw and very 80's just how it should be.
