tok the car out the other day to get it mot'd and now to clean it and these poxy spiders are EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!
little bastards are slinging cobwebs like they are filming a movie or something
so how do i stop them getting into the car in the first place?
and secondly, what about the tyres? do i leave it on axle stands or just push it in and out every few weeks?
it can go several months between outings and last year the tyres were shot because they'd been stood on for so long the sidewalls were all cracked to buggery
don't really want to invest in a cover because of the potential damp issues that i've heard so much about

Wish I knew!? If I take the old satellite dish away from a job, it always full of them, so you can imagine how bad it is in the van!? Bloody things

I know you can buy like a tyre shaped cup to park it in for long periods, not that I've ever bothered and they seem ok....

Put a old set of alloys on it .
Could put carpet under wheels .
When mine was in a council garage I got a little vax Hoover and hoovered around garage and anywhere they were . It does work but take time

Spiders ? No idea.
Storage ? Don't put the car on axle stands Dojj, the suspension drops and when placed under load again it'll squeak like buggery. Get a set of shit rims with shagged tyres and let the car sit on those. There's nothing wrong with a cover as long as it lets the car breathe, mine sits under one all the time. Get a quality tailored fitting indoor breathable cotton cover and you'll be fine.
