fuel pump voltage
Sorry for the dumb question.
Where at the pump to I check its getting the correct voltage. Car has been stood for a couple of years so just giving it the once over.
Do I check at the 2 terminals at the pump, should I get voltage between these 2 wires or between one and earth. Obviously don't want to disconnect one to test as the pump will stop running.
What's the easiest way to check it?
Thanks.

Ok thanks.
Can I disconnect the terminals for a short time whilst its running to check the voltage. Cant get the probes for the multimeter in past the shroud that protects the terminals?

No because then it won't be running. You need the load of the pump to give you an idea on voltage although ideally its about what voltage you get whilst on boost as the load on the pump will increase (current) and therefore the voltage may drop. But its a good indicator of the state of your wiring to test at idle. T
