Yeah, I heard they are really on this now but cannot be too hard to pull the bulb can it? Or clear the fault codes and see if it comes back...I am sure if you google "mondeo tranction control light" there will be a fix for the true problem (could just be a cheap wheel speed sensor) OR how to avoid it on the MOT.

I had to change the clocks because the speedo display LCD thing packed up
I "could" remove the bulb but it's an led in the circuit board which means lots of fiddlyfucking about to get the dials lines up and trued up again

And it's not got an mot so I can't be doing calibrating in the road either

If you are based near enough to Pinner I can put you in touch with a straight but friendly MOT tester who will not be over the top.

The guy I use is pretty good and always tells me about stuff I need to do and stuff that needs to be done so I'm sure things week be fine at the end of the day but it's just so infuriating that fixing one thing dominos into something else needing to be fixed

could you not take the clocks out, to get to the LED and stick a bit of thick tape over it, then put it all back together again. A bit gash, but might work...

The dials need to come off before you can get to the led

I'm going to take it and see what happens, the worst thing if that it'll fail
