Default strange saph starting problem

I have a very strange starting problem on my saph.

The car was in the garage over the winter with the neg terminal on the battery disconnected.

When connected back up in march it was turning over ok but wouldn't start. It soon went flat so i jumped it from another car and it fired up. Didn't think too much more about it and took the battey off for a charge.

The problem still persists though. It cranks over fine but i get no spark, no injectors. Sometimes it will go but it cranks for longer than normal before starting? When started its fine.

The weird thing is if you jump it from another car it will start every time?

I was thinking crank sensor but i changed it for a spare and its the same?

Been told it could be the fuse links in the battery cables? I cant even see where they are, does anyone have a picture of these? I cleaned up all the battery connecions and thought it helped but the problem is still there.

This still makes no sense to me, what does jumping it from another car do to make it start? anyone got any other ideas?

The battery is fairly new.

I also thought battery but if its got enough juice to crank over ok it can't be the problem?

I'm going to get hold of some square to round post converters to try another though
