Default Venezuelan petrol price.

Just watching Caribbean with Simon Reeve and they just mentioned that they can fill a car up with a 68 litre petrol tank for 1 US dollar and if you are well connected you can do it for even less, staggering!!!!!!

I watched it as well, the woman he was with at the petrol station said because she had connections to fill her car up twice a month for a whole year costs her less than the cost of 1 litre of petrol in the UK !!!! No wonder there are so many big old yank V8s there!!!

Even though your petrol prices have risen, in real terms it is still about half the price of here - average tank full in OZ $70.00, average tank full here Ł70.00 !!

we went recently to america and used supermarket gas points to get this

we actually had $2.70 off fuel but they had to charge us 1 cent per 10 gallons

Petrol is cheaper now than in 1964 when I started driving. Then it was 4s 10d or 24p a gallon now its Ł5.04 that's 21 times as much. In the same period the average wage has gone from Ł900 a year to Ł27000 or 30 times. So shut your whinging & get on & enjoy your life. If you don't like it here , leave, it really is as simple as that. You are all hard up with your I-phone, games console, Big TV & modded cars.

Rod I think many people dislike this country not because of the tax we pay but where it goes. All these fucking layabouts that sit at home and get everything given to them, while the people that go to work and pay their taxes get screwed at every opportunity by the government....

and most of them won't think twice about paying way more for a coffee whilst they are out or an energy drink (approx. Ł4/litre for redbull) that they don't need.
