i want to fit a gearbox from a 1991 escort rs2000 to my 1988 escort rs turbo, been told it can be done.i have access to donor car what is involved , been told i need a gearbox mounting bracket fabricated for this project , anyone got any info on this , am stumped

 

Oddkidd creations supply parts to do this, its not cheap though, custom driveshafts, mountings, modded gear selector (from memory) the inner wing will need modification and I can't remember what the clutch options were, I'm sure Jano will tell you a bit more if you get hold of him.
