Iv got a problem with my wastgate its a cheepo type I think I dident buy it new no names stamped into it the manifold is SPA and then I go on to the SPA ate they sell a wastgate that looks just like mine so probs is a SPA gate as well the prob iv got is the actual vale in the gate actually seals onto the manifold itself but neither are totally flat it's ment to have a 7 psi spring in it but to get the valve to seal on the manifold property I have to tighten the spring to the extent of it boosting at 11psi to much for my engine . So what I'm wondering is do some wastgates that seal within there selfies rather than relying on the seal between the valve and manifold?
