Hi all, i've got a 54 plate Mondeo 2.0 TDCI with the 6spd box and i'm having a nightmare with reverse. It goes into all gears fine and the gear stick moves around nicely, but once it's hit the 'stop' inline with 1st and 2nd, it's almost impossible to move it over to the left to where it needs to be for reverse, almost as if something is blocking it. Makes no difference whether the car is cold/warm, clutch in/out.


I've took the gaiter off and found a black o ring seal looking out of place which had split, but i have no idea where this is from and if this is related to my issue. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance!
