i have 1800 cvh in my frst but the bottom end wet, so i have bought another cvh 1800 block but its not the same ie no turbo return hole also no flywheel sensor hole, pickup pipe in the wrong place and the old sump on my engine wont fit? is there two 1800 cvh engine would anyone know? cheers

 

It sounds like the 1800cvh from a sierra, the cps was picked up from the front crank pulley, it won't have a return for the turbo.

 

Are you sure it wasn't a zetec bottom end?

 

Zetec blocks have a hole for the crank sensor, just like the cvh efi block.

 

What's your point? That's why i asked if his original engine was a zetec bottom end,
