Default St 225 vibration prob

Hi everyone brought a 56 plate St a few months ago and it's driving me mad it vibrates on acceleration mainly 40 mph plus it's not through the steering wheel had all joints checked wheels balanced driveshafts checked nothing been told could be dual mass flywheel is this possible thanks john

I've just fixed my pals, it was the offside inner cv joint.

Hi thanks for that any idea of cost there was a slight rolling on the offside driveshaft like a wharped end didn't think it was anough to cause the vibration

Shaft was about Ł220. New gear oil from ford was Ł22 a litre, 2 needed.

Get the shafts checked again, my mates had play in the inner joint. With the car safely jacked up hold the inner cup of the shafts then move the wheel back and forth to feel for wear/play.

As above inner CV joints are causing your issues.
