What turbo damper do people recommend?
Ive not bought one for 10yrs, but my bailey one has fractured twice in that time

Genuine RS500 one

 

Sounds expensive

 

Always told the 500 item was the best, and the Bailey is more of a hanger than a damper.

 

I bought the RS500 replicated one from GGR for £130.

I have a 4X4 head so needed the Spec-R bracket to fit the damper.

Was almost impossible to find but eventually got sorted by someone on here

Bailey one is only a ''hanger'' so doesn't dampen any vibration and allows the exhaust manifold studs to crack easily, which is what happened mine!!!

Apparently Cosworth designed this damper especially for the RS500 to dampen vibrations.

Everyone says it's the best.

Fitting mine next weekend hopefully.

That was'nt what I expected to see. I was expecting to see something like a Bailey damper, I've never seen an RS500 one before.
Anyone got any pics of one fitted please??

 

Even though ggr call it a repair kit I was told it is everything.

 

Looks like a complete replacement, good stuff.

Shame I've got a 4x4 head.
