Hi Guys
Which is the best way to change the rc gasket and half moons to eliminate leaks?
Ive read various stuff
I was going to seal down half moons in corners and then just fit gasket.
However do i grease the half moons or do i put sealer on them and on the rc gasket itself. Any advice would be great.

ive just sealed the ends of the half moon seals and fitted the gasket.
for the doors I used that sticky plastic that you use to protect your carpets/flooring when your decorating,available form screwfix.

 

Never had much joy with the paper gaskets, but now gone for a Cometic one, at least if that leaks, I can take it off and try again...

 

I put a very thin smear of blue hylomar onto the head just enough to hold the gasket down and small bit of hylomar at corners of half moon seals to seal them. That's with a paper/card cam cover gasket though, other types may not work like that?
