RS500 head T61 Turbo/4-1 manifold/waste gate. Dyno proven 650bhp
Set up has been removed from a julian godfrey engine. Was built by Julian and has only ever been dyno run. Full invoice with a list of parts and dyno sheets to prove
The turbo is a T61 and the exhaust housing is .84, was bought brand new and has only ever been dyno
Turbo has a little play but as its stright off the dyno and new by julian I have no concerns
RS500 head was brand new and fitted to a 500bhp engine, the race team lost its funding and it came to its new owner. It was then upgraded to 650bhp.

standard size valves
It's ported and polished
Isky springs
Kent cams (will be supplied with kent verniers)
solid lifters.
Head - 1200
Turbo and manifold - 900
as a set 1800.

Would I be right in thinking that this head would be compromised/unsuitable for a 450bhp build (albeit aiming for 500bhp plus in the future)? I only ask as I'm restricted by 4x4 exh manifold currently.

Will measure the head and port sizes later today with a vernier. I have a gas free test report from burton when it was first machined etc.

Yes jay via text tried to call wouldnt answer passing the buck now saying hes just the middle man still maintains its 650 bhp when given video of it being inspected its not a 500 head and has std exh ports im told would make 500 max as with std exh ports it cannot pysically make any more no refund offerd
not on really this games expensive enough without this kind of bullshit wouldnt have been so bad if the porting was even couldve took the ports out and matched but biggest being over 29 smallest being 27 would be pretty shit lots of oil exh side indicates lots of use or a blow up deffo not just sat on a dyno twice GREAT FUCKING COMUNITY SPIRIT AYE

Thanks jay be good to hear somthing from the horses mouth see if this was me even if selling somthing for sombody else i would have the fuckin decency to refund the money and get the money back from said person rather than chuck blaggs no honour or pride principles are a thing of the past it seems

The 500 head is bollox its the same as a 3dr head but with dowels for intake manifold.
Also those early heads had the large water jackets hence head gasket failure in the early days before the uprated gaskets

This was how it was determined no dowels either way to sombody that isnt experienced enough to know that makes it look more desirable doesnt it 500 being the daddy of cosworths you live and learn aye mate
Mats already got it was taken to prove without any doubt that head is not what i paid for and not just me saying so but even after seeing it he said it made 650 bhp on the dyno so wont make any difference posting it, why hasnt he defended himself or his rep ?
The std exhaust ports say read i wouldnt be on here talking shit without facts the specialist that carried out the examination stated this head cannot make anymore than 500 on those ports its pysically impossible
Anyway fuck the cunt im not wasting anymore time winding myself up spent 3 yrs in anger managment i wont be undoing it on some lying bastad aslong as ive raised awareness and maybe save sombody else falling for this kind of shit im happy hard lesson learned better things to be doing with my time money comes money goes shit sticks
My own engine made 660bhp (740 on gas) with standard exhaust ports so that's not true. You just have to use more Boost. Open them up & you lose Torque. Julian & Mark are specialists who use small exhaust ports the others are perhaps not the specialists you think.
