Angry St250 Worrying rattle.

My ST 250 has only done 1700 miles but there is already a rattling noise from somewhere in the region of the aux belt area. Any ideas before I visit a Ford garage and maybe look silly (I don't know much about engines)?? This noise worries me as the car is almost new. Anyway, it is obviously under warranty and so I suppose I shouldn't be too concerned, but I am. Is this a normal thing with this engine or what?? Any help much appreciated
Dave.

possible bearing or tension-er issue? as the the car is so young it could be that the teioner has come a bit loose or a duff bearing in one of the units driven by the belt.

Don't worry about it, it's under warranty! Not modified it in any way have you?

Its normal mate. The timing chains do make a bit of a noise on these.
