What's people's views on fia oil pumps as I brought one new to build my engine originally, but I have been told to use a genuine ford one but the price from ford is a little expensive

ford are better but still a time bomb waiting to happen , people say only if your reving past 7000 but i heard of them breaking with much less revs.
for the reliability , cost , and piece of mind i would consider getting dan lacey (opi) oil pump kit , its like a dry sump oil pump in looks but it just replaces the original oil pump and is driven by a belt off the crank pulley
or if you have enough cash then full dry sump also from opi
I think the oil pump starts to have issues at around 350-400bhp, I kept the standard pump on my old mk2 fiesta build and that was running around 350bhp with no problems, took the pump apart when I changed to dry sump and it was still perfect inside, loads of people keep the pump for builds over 450 and they have been ok,just down to luck really
