would mfi Erst tank and inline pump work for zetec n/a efi

Default would mfi Erst tank and inline pump work for zetec n/a efi

doing a zetec conversion on my mk2 orion , i useually go carbs but im having a change this time and im just going to put in a 1800 zetec with standard management and efi set up.

would i be able to use an Erst tank with inline pump or would i need an xr3i tank with in tank pump? cheers.

cheers , im guessing i can use the pipework from my carbs fuel lines? im hoping the pipe connectors are rubber with clips and not plastic connectors? would i need to run a pressure reg for efi or not?

I've always used injection fuel lines, can't remember if there's any size difference sorry...

another question would i use the erst fuel pump relay or would i use the zetec as im ripping the whole loom out the the donor car , pats and all as il just change the barrel and use the pats key. and would i need a swirl pot with the rst tank and pump?

I made my own loom up with a relay...
Rs turbo tanks have built in swirl pots...

cheers mate. ones popped up for 30quid down the road , tank and pump so i thought id better snap it up just wanted to make sure first.

I think i answered my own question as im using the mondeo loom so that would include any relays etc.

still abit puzzled on what id do with the lambda sensor as if its unplugged it would have no readings therefore run rich constantly or do i drill a hole and weld a nut into the exhaust and fit a lambda sensor ? or would it not read right because i dont have a cat?? hhmmmm i better get reading up again...
