Exclamation Transporting my own car or caravan

Hello all,
i read and google about laws in uk for recovering and transporting cars but i have still some doubts.
I have a truck that is under 3.5 t and what i can understand is that i can recover a brocken wehicle without no licence.
But what i want to know is...
Can i transport my own car or my own caravan upper the truck without a license ? if the answer is no, what documents i need ?
And how much kg i can tow? (i have all the categories of the driver license c+e)
Thanks for everybody that will help me.

You say you have no license then say you have all the categories on a license, can you be more clear? Is it an international license?

He means an 'O' licence mate.

As far as I understand, anything under 3.5tonnes gross laden weight doesn't require an 'O' licence, and if you are transporting your own goods (not for hire or reward) you don't need an 'O' licence either.

Yep. Need one for anything over 3.5tonnes GVW and / or if you run for hire or reward.
