photos of rs national day
Never been the same since Donnington got revamped...
I thought there might have been a few threads with pics, or threads regarding the shows attendance, layout etc...
Can't have been that good then, glad I saved my money... Last few years have completely put me off RS National day...
Same layout, flying trade stands, rain last year... High ticket fees...
Yet without the real enthusiast that turn up on show, they have no show...

Suprised I haven't seen anything about it on here!
All the feedback has been very positive, getting back to how it was.
Good weather helps as it does with all shows.

it was a fantastic day, well organised with loads to see
concours may have been a little quiet on the day but the track was brimming as were the local group stands. i've heard very very little negativity about the show and wish it was back on this weekend

i took my camera but didn't take a single pic of anything as you couldn't walk more than 3 metres without tripping over someone taking a pic

agree with those posting above, it was the best its been for a long time. last year and the year before was pretty crap, funnily enough i enjoyed 2010 at stanford hall as it was a completely different kind of day.
but this year was a great show, i was a bit annoyed with myself not taking any pics on the day but you couldn't get moved for people with cameras, i thought the WWW would have been overflowing with pics

the only pic i found of my car

Loads of pics on Facebook and the RSOC forum, my missus took loads of the track action while we had some fun.
It's not worth spending 2 hours uploading them and posting for 2 people to say thanks
those days have long gone.
10 minutes max and 200 pics uploaded to Facebook

Nothing major, although not been for a MOT yet.... Just been sat in the garage, not moved, as had 2 kids in the last two years...
Had to change the rocker gasket and, when I had it apart, noticed the cam belt is loose, been rubbing the cover for a while! :-0 Got to free off the N/S/R caliper, plus get the bailey header tank welded up, as it's got a crack on the top weld. Will need a pair of discs for the front AP's at some point soon and a re paint on a couple of wheels, give it a good clean an pray it's not rotted while garaged!!

Best it's been for years and as Sin mentions above why waste time uploading to web pages when social media is painless and instant.
Good family atmosphere, plenty to look at, full track, some great old skool touring cars and at 28 degrees with plenty skirt to look at!!!
Everyone also needs to remeber that The RSOC is an actual club not web based so there will be plenty right ups in forthcoming mags i'm sure.
Roll on 2015!!!

The thing is these people who dont like the rsoc and who would want to show there car, the rsoc would properly let them. Just cause I own an rs doesnt mean I dont like XRs STs. I like all Fords.

Even on the RSOC the pics of the day have not been massive like you would expect from your own show ? This year is the slowest I have seen for pics of days out on all forums

Facebook must be part of the reason ?

sin i could kick myself for leaving the camera in the car at ND. everywhere you looked there was somebody with a camera lol and i just assumed that the pics would be all over the forums.
it used to take me a good few hours to upload onto the rsoc but didn't mind doing it as it advertised our group and the club to non members viewing.
i'm not on facebook either so i guess if me and tom didn't do it on there then nobody would
