Default Car Wiring Looms

Hi all was just wondering if anyone knows if the wiring looms are the same in all escorts and onions regardless of them being Rs turbo or xr3i etc?

I know that the engine looms are different because of efi or mfi etc but was wondering if the in car loom is the same. Reason I ask is I have two orions one mfi and one efi both have full electric pack and same year so wondering if I could lift the loom from one and put it in the other so I can keep the alarm.

I read my own post and I don't think its clear lol!

I have two cars one is mfi and one is already efi as its a later model it was efi from factory.

Mfi is rotten and is being scrapped but has a good alarm with it,

Was planning on swapping the car loom into the EFI car to get the alarm and wanted to know if they were the same or if I am going to have to rewire the alarm

Not changing the engine loom

Thanks

Engine and car loom are one single combined loom in a mk4 so unfortunately you can't just swap them.

probably a "pop" (piece of pierce) to remove it, may have switches on door locks like sierra, guess its de-activated by the key in drivers door, and triggered by interior light/ pin switches, so grab the door looms too
will be very basic, although it seems to have done its job,
probably doesn`t enter fuse box, also
mirrors windows and locks loom does disconnect from the main engine and lights / heaters loom easy job

Yeah I think i am going to remove the loom and splice it into the efi one, To be fair it's a thatcham cat 1 sigma alarm so I would like to keep it as it's been good and gives me remote central locking,

Damn you ford lol.
