The immbiliser light is flashing but it was flashing before it stopped working. And I'm not sure if it clicks, when I turn the key to the second stage when all the lights come on it clicks then, but when turn it to start there ain't any clicks then

It's does seem the immobiliser is armed, do you have another key you can use?

You need to find out if your getting power to the small wire on the starter when the key is turned.

Just re read, I assumed you had the ignition on, which in reality you probably didn't? Therefore it wouldn't start, hence not an immobiliser problem!

If this is correct then as said then you have lost the feed to the starter, a likely cause would be the starter relay.

So what do you think the overall problem is lads. The starter works when a wire is connected to the Cilinoid then to the battery. Might sound thick as fuck but we're is the starter relay. And before it fucked up when I put the key in and turned the engine management light come on it doesn't come on anymore.

Can u see the starter motor easily I have seen a few of these snap the small wire going to the started, I don't think your ignition switch is the problem when u said before that the eml light wasn't coming on I'd assumed none of them were

To rule out an immobiliser problem jump in the car with the key in your hand the light should flash once every 2 seconds (ish) put the key in the ignition and turn to position 2 if the light stops flashing/goes out your ok, if the flashing speed increases then you have an immobiliser issue

If you also have no engine management light I'd say it could be a ecu power supply problem. Have you checked for blown fuses?

If the fuse has blown then it has done so for a reason, the easiest way for you would be to find which one it is (via the legend or the handbook) and remove it, once it's removed you can easily see if the wire has broken.
