Hi after some info I'm currently changing my saph from 314bhp t3/greens etc to 380ish spec,fitted t34.63 ran up road went fine obviously not driving hard as will need map but just to check turbo ok,then fitted Siemens 55lb injectors and it misfired when I started it then settled down idles not to bad but misfires when I rev it,disconnected each injector all drop off the same,swapped back to greens runs ok,injectors are brand new so hoping they ok I was thinking they will be just over fuelling due to car map being for greens? If so I will just fit them when I get to the mapper,anyone know if that is right? Cheers

 

Where did you get the injectors from...Alot of coppies out there

Will you not need a remap for the 55's?

 

Yeah i will need remap just wasnt sure if it should run like this before getting it mapped,like i say hope it is just the map and i will fit 55s when i get there instead of before

 

Your going to kill that engine mate. You can't just throw loads of fuel in and expect the engine to run fine.
Take the 55s out until you have the chip in there to control them.

 

Spot on m8 just needed that answer,i knew i couldnt just run it like that but wasnt sure if it would drive slowly to get it mapped,iv only started it and revved it in garage and put greens back in,just was worried i bought duff injectors,iv msgd you about it aswel to see what sort of waiting time there is to book it in once iv serviced it etc,i will just fit them when i get there,cheers

 

Greens need to go back in if your planning on driving it mate.

Its ok bud i just made one,just need to get me finger out n get it mapped or a chip but im changing jobs and another bairn on way so i avnt got much time for it atm,itl get there in the end n then al sell it lol
