I have old nuts off my st220 and there a lot bigger? Will they do?

 

Also how would I get collars off?

 

I mean the collars need to be bigger than rst ones,
mate got some over the counter for cosworth wheels on a mk2 orion
you can get the rst ones off with a hacksaw but up to you
over the counter should be possible

 

Ok mate I'll ring euro Tomoz. I know there was a company that could make them up from nuts n threads but properly. I was going to see if somewhere could do the same but using my st220 nuts as there alot bigger Thant Rst ones. If you get me? Cheers anyways mate

 

Might be wrong but i think what your probably after are ghia wheel bolts.

Should be able to get them from eBay. Got mine from my local oval race track supplier.

 

Pretty certain in the past I've read on here that speedshack sell them?

I did a stud and nut conversion rely easy drill all the holes out to 12.mm and the studs pullin into the hubs I used an old steel wheel but some Washers and an air gun

 

Do the studs just tap in? I'd go for that mate as my threads in hubs are ancient so at least it would all be new etc . Couple of bolts just feel like they wanna keep turning after I've tightened them and that was before the cossie alloys! If you get me?

 

You ideally wanna press them or pull them in.

If you pull them in use a old steel wheel type wheel nut and 3-4 washers and tighten the nut against the washers which will pull the splines of the studs into the hubs.

 

Cheers mate. So drill them out with a 12 mm hss bit and pull them through. Where can I get some and what length studs?

 

As stu said but I used a 12.5 mm bit

 

or use a stud extractor. tighten until they no longer can thread in anymore.
