My race day report
Qualified 4th in the rain for both races well happy with that, my best start position so far
Race one ...
Took the lead at the start on a wet but drying track, 3 faster cars soon got passed, the track was then drying which didn't suit me and I eventually finished 5th still a great result tho,
Race 2
started ok and was in second behind an evo when as I braked for tower on lap 1 the car turned left and I hit the barrier and ran down it, taking the front end off the car...
Once the marshal had moved my bumper I set off dead last and then had the race of my life to get up to 6th before a red flag stopped us, finished 7th in the end after they counted back a lap
Bit of work to do to fix the car starting tomorrow

Unlucky fella ive been there and done it in the ford saloons but you did well to get back up to 7th and doesnt look to much damage

You did well to come back in the race m8, croft isn't the greatest track when damp but 7th is good

 

Bad luck, but, at least you an the car are ok! (Well, car ok ish...)

What happened under braking to snatch it left so hard? Braking too hard while down shifting?

just seemed to snatch all of a sudden and you were off. did one of the wheels lock up?
