Default MK6 Fiesta Zetec S

So I recently got a Fiesta Zetec S for an unbelievable deal. Has a few problems, the main one being that it is in need of a respray, which isn't a major concern seeing as my dad is a paint sprayer and I'll be doing any body work.

The night I picked it up

Some Daylight pictures, shoddy paint work really shows in these..

Anyway, today I started on cleaning it up a little bit, starting with removing the bubbled up tints on the windows, removed all of the tape that was holding the rear number plate on and cleaned the exhaust

Plans are to respray it, will probably keep it black although I am considering white. Also get some new number plates, some new alloys, lower by around 40mm and take all of the stickers off. I'll also be colour coding any plastic trim or doing it gloss black, depending on what colour I get it resprayed.

One thing that is a problem is that it crunches when it goes into second gear. A new clutch was fitted in January apparently so if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, let me know.

What a bloody mess lol. Well done for saving it and giving it some tlc! Does the clutch pedal feel spongy? Clutch might need bleeding, could be a selector problem or even a synchro problem in the box.

Someone has badly tinted them. I can't seem to get the tint off with anything either so i'm trying to get a swap for some standard red ones.

Tinted? They more look like "painted"

Standard facelift rear lights look better than most aftermarket options after all.

Haven't update this thread in a very long time. A lot has changed with this car now, for starters it is now white...

I'll let the pictures do the talking

So the car was stripped down, all dents and scratches were repaired, rear bumper was smoothed along with the doors. I made a rear diffuser for it which was sprayed panther black. The whole car was resprayed in ford frozen white except the roof. I tied the black in with the wheels and grills. Center console was also sprayed panther black along with the air vents.
The headlights were also stripped and sprayed black with frozen white rings. I also got some new number plates a week or so ago which freshened it up a bit.
Will be getting some St side skirts in the new year and will eventually have it sitting lower with some different wheels.
