Default Help needed please folks!!! (2wd sapph coilovers/hub issue)

Hi all does anyone know what the measurement around the base of a coilovers for a 2wd sapph is supposed to be as I've just brought new gas coilovers and they are much smaller than the hub I have but as far as I am aware my hubs are standard 2wd and they look ok but as said coilover is like a dick in a bucket so either I have 4x4 ones or wron hubs!!! If any has the measurements that would be great.cheers

Don't think there 4x4 hubs as there's no inner cv joint left in to hold bearing in they are identical to 2wd hubs I'm thinking they are 2wd sapph non cosworth hubs like a 1.8lx or something I just need to find out what they should measure then I can check against mine to confirm.

1.8 hubs are the same as 2wd cossie hubs as my saff is a 1.8 shell with standard hubs but with 2wd cosworth shocks

4x4 struts are thicker than 2wd so surely you cant have been sent 4wd ones as they wouldn't fit into the hubs??

Am I mistaken?

4wd struts are indeed thicher than 2wd, so that cannot be the case. And 2wd cossie hubs are definately not the same as standard 2wd hubs, only the struts have about the same thickness.

I think it's better to post some pics as people will recognize it then.
