Looking at getting a dry sump i'm going to be running circa 450bhp on my zetec turbo. Read a few things here and there about oil pumps failing. So want to be safe and go for a dry sump set up. Which ones are good ? What's rhe difference between stage 1, 2 etc. I've read that some dry sump kits don't need an oil tank ?

A dry sump will have a remote storage of some sort ie a tank
A wet sump won't need a tank
You can run a external pressure pump
With wet sump .
Dry sump is normally the best and safest way to go
And if you send 5/10k on a engine you want it to last more than 5 minutes
If you decide to go dry sump then pm
Me
Cheers
