Default Mk1 Focus 1.8 TDCI Cambelt

I'm looking at replacing the cambelt on my 1.8 TDCI focus and just wondering if anyone has a guide any hints tips?

Any special tools required?

Any info much appreciated

It's bin a while but I think you need 2 locking pins for the cam and pump, ill try and get an auto data diagram for you

Piece of piss. When ive done them ive just locked the cam then changed the belt. You should have it done in 1 hour and a half.

Make sure you tap the cam pully off so it spins. Or it can chew the belt up.

Well said matey.

Its a free floating top pulley which makes the timing even easier.

Ive got a piece of paper that you get with the ford tbelt kit that shows you how to remove and fit the belt. I will take a pic of it and send you it if you need it.
