does anyone have any info on this test? I have been searching for days and cant find much on it, what i have found says it applies to cars built after 1997 with heavy modification to chassis, shell, suspension, engine and transmission, can anyone link me to a reliable source of info on test procedure and requirements?

If its based on an OEM vehicle, most the noddy stuff you wont even need to worry about, eg light sectors and hieghts, exterior projections as anything built post mid eighties will comply with the regulations as the mass type approval rules have been in place much longer and are often much stricter in many areas.

 

i spent 2hours readin the entire manual and it doesn't specifically saywhat you can and cant do, it says for a pass the car must score 8/14 identification points, it states that to score these points the replacement parts have to be either completely original or rebuilt from parts from 1 other donor car, so for exampl, if i swap out Orion floors, crossmembers engine transmission for sierra bits converting it to rear wheel drive along the way using sierra shell or 'monocoque' as it calls it in the manual..does this mean i will be able to keep my cars identity or will it be q plated regardless
