how much for a turbo rebuild?

hi guys does anyone know how much it is for a turbo rebuild?

I got mine done at a local company for £250 cash.

mine got done at same place DazC got his done i think,
440, with cossie compressor wheel, 360 bearing and -31 actuator
and i think a cossie shaft

is it cheeper to exchange and just get a hybrid? iv just ot a pace intercooler - 31 actuator and stg 2 power eng chip and just found that the turbo is wining like a cat so more expence none of it is fitted yet dohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i dunno, i was told to build my turbo to a spec to take the power i wanted,
so i did, the thing is with hybridising is that you can get it built tothe spec YOU want
whereas if you buy a new one, the spec you want may not be available,
and the cossie compressor wheel in mine makes a hell of a difference

Mine was a standard rebuild for a standard turbo as I plan to use something completely different when I have sorted out the management.

Hi there mate have a look on a web site call www.aet.co.uk. I had my turbo rebuilt there it was about £400 for stage 1 rebuild and 360 degree bearing! And it looks Bow Shank now its back under me bonnet. They will collect it and deliver it back as well!

got mine done through p.t.s via universal turbos, 535 for stage 2 rebuild, should of been 300 but mine was fooked and needed a whole rebuild!!.

£535! ive got a stage 3 that P.T.S rebuild 2wks ago and they only charged me £375 with vat, give P.T.S a call on 01582 731733 they seem to be about the cheapest ask for Tony or Paul they'll look after ya

yeah but mine is a new turbo now, they had to replace everything, the core was fooked!, they also cut back the blades for me.
