Default Decibel slayers/ mufflers

Hi guys has any one got one used one do they really work or a waste of money or is it better to clamp another silencer to the existing exhaust this is only for track days

I've heard they kill a lot off power. Read an article from Dave walker in ppc mag ( always take these with a pinch of salt. Don't see real race cars with them tho.

A lot of them restrict flow in the exhaust so draw your own conclusions from that.

I have got a decibel devil and a home made version, both knock about 2/3db off my side exit, but both do affect the cars running,
if your looking for a 5+db reduction don't bother.
