They both come in RWD and 4WD models, depenmding if you got a GTR or not

Main advantage of 32GTRs is lighter than 33GTRs (over 100kg if early models) and you can feel it too, cheaper, and come with a push clutch, which makes things slightly cheaper/easier than 33s and their pull ones when it comes to uprated clutches.

33GTRs allegedly have a faster acting 4wd but youd be hard pushed to tell. They also have bit better brakes.

Apart from that they almost identical in spec, engines are exactly the same (tho allegedly 32s have stronger blocks), and box n diffs are almost the same n just as strong, just down to price n personal preference.

GTSTs are very different, and RWD.
R32 GTSTs are 2litre 6cyl 24v as std, R33 GTSTs are 2.5, but heavier again, but with better brakes, and same barring that again really.

R32s also have GTST4s which are the 2litre, but the GTRs 4wd, so perfect for a cheap car to swap to a bigger engine in...

The R's are 4wd and the S's 2wd or is it the other way round?

And the ST's are uprated versions of the S?

 

GTRs are all 4WD but are TOTALLY different to all other models.

Different bodyshell shape, different kit, different block, different head, different internals, different turbos, different transmission, different interior.
Almost no interchangeable parts what so ever. And when i say "different" i mean "better"...

GTSTs are all RWD barring the R32 GTST4s i mentioned.

GTS is non turbo, GTST is turbo RWD

Dont get me wrong, even GTSTs can get 550bhp on pump fuel with bolt on mods only (and cams, just std internals), but GTR is totally different, and made in a similar vein to RS500s, ie homologation reasons, so most of the std parts and internals are made to handle huge power.

 

Put it this way the fastest 4wd car in the world isnt a r32

If so thats top THREE in the world, as thats ran a 8.7 hasnt it?


Infact the HKS R33 is shat on road tyres, look at the 0-300 results 17.64secs 6th in the world, the Veilside R32 did it in 13dead, FASTEST int he world
