msd distributor blank help

Default msd distributor blank help

quick question i bought the distributor black from msd , with regards to the distributor rotor shaft and gear should i remove those as well

No mate as the shaft will still be needed as your phase sensor will still be in use(unless mounted to rocker cover to pick up on cam) just remove the HT leads and the distributor cap and fit the blank.
I assume you also have the rest of the wasted spark kit too.

i have a another question i went to modify the back of my tach it seems i have one the rear type ones so i was wondering how easy would it be to fit a aftermarket one what would need to be done

Do not remove it!

As said you need to relocate the phase sensor to the cam cover, but more importantly you need machining work done, as when you remove the dizzy it also will stop the drive to the oil pump!
