stripping a 3 doorgti down to bare shell, engine gearbox clutch driveshafts and center console already gone, everything else can go. interior is in great nick, this car was featured in fast ford december2012 i believe.

no mate keeping them for myself, thats the only reason i bought it. someone needs to buy some or all of this quick or its all gonna go in a skip lol serious lack of space here

bought one but really poor condition.

 

Far too many parts here to list mate, i have everything available bar these parts;

shell
engine
gearbox
clutch
engine loom
driveshafts
center console (i do still have it but whoever put it in super glued it all together so i had no choice but to rip the bugger out!)

got the gti/rs2000 bodykit on that can go, carpet came out with no cuts, rest of loom out no cuts etc

all in great condition, im no expert but from what i can tell its had new fixings put in at some point, as said above it was featured in fast ford a couple of decembers ago and it was mint then.

just come over in a van and take the lot for a ridiculous amount lol i just want the lot gone tbh so i can cut it up and start welding

 

steering wheel is in good condition, il give it a thorough check over tomorrow mate for any frayed stitching etc but the leather is all intact and shows no signs of wear

I need both door seals. boot seal. both rear windows seals and both door seals which sit along the top of the shell which the top of the door sits on.

ive got the lot here mate all are in great condition only look a couple of years old. only trouble is im nowhere near ready to take them out as i need the shell to stay watertight until i shift everything else lol

 

Would you have the 3 knobs for the heater control

 

yep got them mate would rather let them go with the dash though

throttle body went with the engine mate

Just thought can you get the rear abs sensors out without damaging them.

 

i tried when i stripped it mate but they must have been the only thing left unrestored on the whole car lol.
everything else is like new, roof lining and sunroof tray are totally mint

 

So there fooked then lol.

 

i think the mk5a im stripping still have them on, il check the quality of em tomorrow amd let you know mate.

I bought your gti interior a while back.

 

hiya mate, got mostly interior bits left now, gti shell has been scrapped, had a mk5b rs2000 since and thats been stripped and scrapped now too lol

 

have you got a decent gearlever surround for a mk6 with intact lugs and gator

 

bah i was up there earlier! sure i have steve, wont be up there for a few days now though but will take a pic to show you, pretty sure i tucked it in a gti door card for safe keeping. anything else you may need while im up there mate?

electric mirrors
interior light with maplights & yellow relay
ford strut brace
centre console with lid
red colour coded handles

 

i kmow i definately have the radiant red handles mate, got mirrors too but i think one maybe damaged so il chexk later on, il be up there this afternoon.

all door rubbers are now available, boot etc. also got standard 3dr glass and a set of original pop outs. no screens though

 

as long as mirror internals work and are intact thats fine stu as he has the mirror colour coded caps and he would need the inner trims for mirrors too, how many handles you got as he is looking for 4

 

definately got the gearstick gator, mirrors, and two door handles steve, not got photos though as they are proper buried, need to spend half a day up there having a sort out

 

give me a shout once you have checked them over as the gearlever surround and gator is for my car so needs to be a good one with intact mounting lugs

nice one stu as I do like these kahns, looks like they need a trip to powder coater though which is a bummer so will have to pass but still need that gearlever surround

 

yeah thats why ive not put these up for sale, think il tuck them away for now, as at some point im going to attemp to strip and restore wheels. dont worry i have some other wheels to practice on first
