mk1 focus wheel spacers question

Does anybody know the maximum width wheel spacers you can use with the standard ford alloys/nuts on a mk1 focus?

i have 5mm spaces on the rear of my MK1 RS and the standard nuts work fine with them
but wont go any wider than that with normal ford nuts
