I have given my 2wd a freshen up and today filled with oil and primed using a flexi drive in the dizzy hole.

Turned clockwise and oil came faily quicky to the turbo feed, but what i did notice is the dizzy hole also filled with oil....

is this normal when doing this type of priming.....

anything connected to the oil pressure side will get oil to it.

 

OK anyone else got any thoughts

 

Pretty sure the dizzy seals that hole once fitted?

 

Thanks.....i am sure it will but to be honest did'nt quite expect alot of oil comming from there.

 

Any more comments engine is being fitted next week, and want to make sure its right

Yes you will have oil there and the dizzy seal will seal that once fitted.

Once you are ready to fire it up, pull the coil off and crank the engine over. That will build some oil pressure before you start the car.
