...a few days before Christmas, I bought #1878 from a friend in Aberdeen.
I own a low mileage, mint condition E46 M3 which I'm pretty anal about and have taken off the road for winter. I also have a Mondeo ST200 which I'd been using for work/daily running, but since I couldn't bring myself to track the M3 and the Mondeo wasn't quick enough to step in... I started to look for a car to do daily duties which could also cope with the odd track day here and there throughout the year.
I had originally started looking at higher value, low mileage, mint condition FRS' which had been for sale.. but realised that I'd just end up with two cars which I couldn't stand putting on track for fear of stone chips etc. I almost gave up the search for a FRS in favour of an Impreza/ITR because I was severely wary buying a higher mileage Focus given the state I'd seen of some low mileage FRS' underneath etc... but my friend told me he was selling his and given it was only an hour or so away, I went for a look. I honestly couldn't believe the condition of this one, it is MINT underneath (shall be photographing it, then undersealing it!) and there is a massive folder of history and receipts to support mods/servicing/parts with it too.
Engine:
Ford Motorsport Manifold
Miltek De-Cat
Miltek Cat-back exhaust
Bailey Recirc Valve
K&N Gen II Induction Kit
Pro Alloy Cargecooler Radiator
Dreamscience Stratagem
Roose Boost Hoses
Chassis:
Front Drilled and Grooved Discs
Uprated Front Pads
Rear Drilled and Grooved Discs
Uprated Rear Pads
Goodridge Braided Lines front and back
It needs a couple of wee niggly things sorted out, but *touch wood* nothing too expensive or extreme.
I've already added some amber front/side indicators because my OCD wouldn't allow the amber/clear standard combination, haha.

Finally, here's a picture of all three cars together:

Cheers,
Grant

Thank you everyone.
.....keep waiting.

If you fancy one, do it. I regret not buying one sooner to be honest, reminds me of my old RS Turbo... but in a modern and *touch wood* more reliable package!!
Exactly right.. when Morgan first told me about the car, I said I wasn't too interested because I'd seen/heard of cars with 50/60k miles which were rotten to buggery underneath..... but after going to view, I couldn't believe how clean it was. Going to take a few pictures of it when I get it on a ramp again, then underseal the shite out of it to try and keep it that way.

Cheers,
Grant

Good car this, underside is super clean, loads of these are rot boxes. I thought it was brilliant on fuel for what it is! It was much and such the same on fuel as any M3 I've had.
Good buy
