Does anyone know the difference between a fiesta van and a normal fiesta except for the windows being welded up and the back having no seats/flatter floorpan? I'm looking for a mk5 (I think - ST shape) van but all of the vans seem fooked or high milers. I'm thinking I'd be better off buying a normal fiesta, welding the side windows up and wrapping? Am I right in thinking this or is there a lot more to it?

Raymond - that looks real nice mate... .Has replacing the rear 1/4 glass ever been retro done before do you know? Wonder if you can buy the plastic panels? I thought the glass part was part of the entire rear quarter? I don't 'need' a van but for advertising purposes its great. The missus has a normal fiesta this shape and its amazing how much stuff you can get in it, more than my old Astra van!!

been looking at one of these for myself. Only need a small van to throw the tool bag in etc.
Sport vans are nice but fetch big money. Ive seen some nice ones go for about 2k.

Just an idea, could you not just vinyl wrap the rear glass? cheaper and easier than changing panels and could just be peeled off to turn it back into a car.
Another thing if they are Diesel it's cheaper to tax a car converted into a van than a van into a car as the cars are only £30 a year where the vans are about £215

Got to be cheaper and easier to just buy the car version surely?? To me the amount of space they have with the back seats out etc anyway is still too small and I'd just go buy a van rather then a car that's passed off as one
To be honest I would avoid the diesel going by the past they are nothing but bother if you get the car as well you will get a better spec. The 1.25 things go quite well and cheap to sort when they break. That's what I'm on the look for
hi guys, im new to the site but this thread caught my attention when googling fiesta van, basically im looking at fiesta zetec s tdci mk6, but I really want to remove the back seats and put in the proper ford sport van bottom bulk head and a flat floor. But im in need of help and advice on wether the bulk head would fit in to the car, i.e is there any mounting holes etc, secondly if I put in a plywood floor would there be holes to bolt this down to in the car version. any help would be much appreciated.
