When piping a Boiler, do you have to consider flow direction etc when fitting T-Pieces?? Or is the whole pipe pressurised so it really doesnt matter? I hope that makes sense or I might have to do a little diagram!!
Also, am I right in thinking that the Cold Water Inlet and DWH Outlet are 15mm throughout?
Ta.

Ummmm, I think you could get it for around Ł850+VAT. Its not cheap, but its one of the best there is.
As for the fitting being expensive. I know. Hence the question!!

You can buy Combi's these days for Ł500-600. But we, like you, only wanted to do it once. Vaillant have a very good reputation.
Another one we looked at was the Vaillant Aquaplus.
I think you will get mixed up in the new regs regarding Condensing Combi's etc. But I dont really know the details of that.

On the Boiler itself there will be Flow and Returns, both marked up.
BUT if you are using Thermostatic Radiator Valves, they are bi-directional, so you can fit it to which side of the radiator you want. Just double check that the Valves you are fitting are first.
Depending on what boiler size you have, the DHW MAY be 22mm, but it will say in the instruction Booklet mate.

I have just read the book and it says that both the Cold Water Inlet and DHW Outlets are 15mm on the Boiler. So, should I pipe in 15mm or use an adaptor to go to 22mm??
Obviously the mains enters the house in 22mm pipe, is there any benefit to piping to the boiler in 22mm? Its obviously alot harder to lose 22mm pipes in the wall, so I only want to use it where it is beneficial.

Fitting a 15mm main to it will be fine mate
With the hot water, it is one of those, the hole is 15mm so stepping it up to 22mm wont gain you much as it can only pass through in 15mm..........if you get me.
Feel free to put 22mm in if you can but it may not make much difference as it comes off in 15mm

Just get what boiler it is and pop into your local Plumbing mechants, they will sort you out bud

OK then,
I have a mixer shower that is fed from a big tank in the loft. The flow is shite - I have room to raise the tank by about 18 inches - worth doing? Or do I have to fit a pump? The tank is fookin huge

O.K. list price is Ł996.21+VAT
We get 58% on that particular one Ł418.41+VAT.
Can't order you one anyways as you can only get that price for being account customers, so an invoice would come to my work, and it would get picked up.
