GT4 - my rant
As much as i love this game its starting piss me off a bit. So much was promised by it, and yet it fails on some accounts:
1. When you whack on a monster turbo its laggy as fook, shame there wasn't a feature to map the car
2. Compared to GT3 the tuning parts are more expensive and generally give less gains. There are many decent cars that you can spend more than 100,000credits and end up with something in the region of 500bhp with no more scope for tuning.
3. The second hand car sections are full of Jap stuff - hardly ever does anything else appaer that aint Jap.
Mayby im just being picky but the game could be soooo much better.
Bring on Forza.

Same problems with GT3 when it came out comparred to GT2 - prices for tunning had shot up and in GT2 it was really easy to earn credits comparred to GT3!
Less gains from more expensive tune ups, and in GT3 there weren't even a second hand section!
I think the idea is to make the game tougher and tougher, so you have to do more racing and win more to make more credits so you can afford the tuning gear. But instead of being able to make stupid power figures no one can keep up with (like GT2 : 1300bhp Skylines
) YOu have to put more effort and control into your driving to win rather than relying on the engine (and how many people just used the Suzuki Pikes Peak thing to win everything even tho it didn't steer for shit - didn't matter, just bouce the fooker off walls and still win
)
