How much antifreeze to put in my 4x4?

Default How much antifreeze to put in my 4x4?

I've just bought a alloy rad for my 4x4 cosworth and wondered how much anti freeze il need as I'm going to flush the system out at the same time,done a few searches and most people are saying 50/50 what's that in litres though? Thanks in advance

From memory the cooling system holds around 7 litres, i had to buy a 5 litre bottle from ford

you can see at the header tank level .must be at the midle .7 litres or 8

Guessing you're on about mix and not quantity?

50/50 is fine and the usual but look on the bottle. It will give the temps it will work for. So go from that.

what you mean 50 /50 ? mine is ready bottle .you put7 litres and you are ready

Depends how you buy it. Neat or premixed.

Near will be 50/50 mix with water (depending on climate) or premixed depending on what you buy.

I just did a few searches on here and a few post were saying 50/50 so I take it that was for neat antifreeze

yes some are for different climate .they work even minus 20 celsius very cold places .i didnt know near 50/50 water
