Pictures, video & Photoshop ForumIf you want to show off your photoshop skills, share pics and videos of your car or other cars you've found, here's the place to go.
i scanned these pics i got with the kaliber rep shown what it was in its previous incarnations
before these pics it was supposed to have come to ireland as a groupa rallycar ,but this hasnt being confirmed yet and have no evidence of this
so the history starts here as a thundersaloon, again owner or history unknown at this point
after this it was turned into a rallycross car and raced by phil collard
then into this by steve fitz
and now

Well done James.
Phil and I got together and I asked him for those pics,im glad Paul passed them on , we couldn't recall who the driver was when it was Circuit raced but i'd be very happy to know if anyone has any ideas ?
and thanks again tony and everyone else who passed them on with the car ,as its the only way of trying to get to the bottom of its history, which is proving elusive
hopefully with these pics out on the web now ,it may jog someones memory tony
and its vin tag
which survived a 150 mile trip hanging out from under the bonnet and slam panel,
i couldnt believe it when we unloaded the truck annd found it hanging on by the skin of its teeth

tony have you any idea of the dates of these pics mate?
The mats probably refer to the sound deadening pads inside the car on the floorpan and the sealer means the seam sealer around the panel joints. This is how the group N spec shells were built, where as the group A ones were basically panels welded together and that was it, for lightness and to allow them to be seam and stitch welded later on.
Damn that's an old pic. It's actually taken at the back of what used to be the F1 pits at Spa-Francochamps, before they knocked them down and rebuilt them to the current ones.
We'd been over there with Steve (Fitz) and a load of other cossies doing a 2 day trackday....
