My mate had this one c71 sgw and I had it in for a full detail last year, he sold it a wee while back for Ł7500 iirc

 

bad camera alert , my s1 outside getting some fresh air,

 

looks awesome

lovig the louvered bonnet. i tried to do this one on of mine many yers ago and it warped the bonnet badly

these have been pieced in not pressed,i bought the bonnet and when it came i wasnt best pleased but tidied it up a lot and i think its reasonable now,
just waiting for a few more parts to come and carry on piecing it together

This was her all finished and in for a proper detail before being sold. Me and my sidekick spent a full 2 days sorting out the flat bits of paintwork under the bumpers and had the interior out and shampooed and carpet and door cards etc. even the roof lining was cleaned to new condition. Was absolutely mint when she left my bay

Honestly didn't think the new MO5's would suit the S1 shape especially when the old style fat faced ones look so good . But that looks the tits Dave . First time I've seen it like that with the engine in
