Any Mk1 Focus key will open your car providing they know how to do it properly. So you need someone with another mk1 Focus and someone who knows how to do it. And before people reply telling me they only lock it, no, they also open it if you know how. I am not sure how to it sorry but it does just involve sticking the key in and turning it some strange way.

Smash one of the front windows, quickest and easiest option. Seen the aa have to do this before at central day.

take out the high centre brake light, find the wire that goes to boot lock and put 12v to it and bingo.

You don't need to bend enough to crease, just a couple of cm's and then wedge it...

As underdog said, I did this years ago in 2002 Mondeo. The RAC did this, they went in to the gap between the body and the tailgate, they pulled the rubber cover that the wires run through out of the body then probed the wires with a live feed. If I remember rightly there were two orange wires and it was one of those.

Looking at my wiring diagram oranges are not part of the central locking system so it's possibly a black orange not a lot of room tho lol

The tapping into the boot loom through the 3rrd brake light is supposedly only possible on early mk1s, later ones were modified to get by the security loophole!

I honestly don't know how to do it or I would. Someone on here will know how to do it I just happen to know it can be done but now how. Once you know it's easy if you know what I mean Sorry mate. It's damage free too.

Did you manage to get in? I managed to lock my only key in the boot while my focus was dead locked. I was impressed by how secure the car was. I got the RAC out and his method was remove reverse sensor and backfeed 12v which powers up the electric windows. Wedge/Airbag in drivers door, stick to wind window down. Unfortunately I have a saloon so the seat release for back seats is in the boot not accessible from back of car. He then fed 12v to the boot release wire which was under the back n/s seat.

Popping the middle brake light out seems easiest way to go. Or find a friend in the RAC with cover on any car to say they were driving and have locked keys in there (worked for me).

If you can get access to the car can't you just take your back seats down and reach into the boot ?

Sorry about that. Happened just as I was going on holiday, forgot to post back.
Got the RAC out via a family member. They used a wedge and air bag on the drivers door. Removed reverse sensor from gearbox and fed 12v in which powered up electric windows. Pressed switch with stick. Climbed in drivers window. Wiring loom to boot was accessed from under rear seat and 12v to the boot release.

Removing center brake light would be easier but, this way less risk of damage.
