jump leads
I went to buy some new leads but gave up after reading all the specs.
I am after some heavy duty, pretty long (3m) leads that will not get hot and melt at the first turn of the key.
Can you point me in the right direction.
Many thanks.

What are they for starting? if you wont heavy duty then look at the amp rating the higher the better! 600amp ones will be more than enough for a car! im sure the ones on my daf aid van for doing trucks are 1200
If you cant find the length you need make your own! just get the clamps then 2 lengths of cable at the amp rating you wont

Bigger IS better, provided bigger = more copper, and not just PVC as some cheaper leads are.
