Wheels look shit. Can't stand this trend of stretching tyres too small over rims. Looks like a cock with it's foreskin pulled back

 

agree it is grey looks like shiney primer at them tyres look like pram wheels

 

Looks in primer, with the fucking worst hub caps ive ever seen.

Porsche alloys they may be, but look like some hub caps sold by motor world in the 90's then painted.

 

imagine taking one of them old Cosworth things,

painting it another colour, putting big silly 18" wheels on it and a big silly exhaust.........

and making it produce twice the horsepower it did when it left the factory

THAT would be silly as much as this is silly because the whole population doesnt like it

I had a rant at someone on the talk Ford forums the other day who was going down this route with his car.

I get different genres of modifying, I personally like the OEM+ approach. But this 'scene' bollucks is something I can't get my head around.
Ford did an awesome job at the handling of the MK6 Fiesta out of the factory. Improvements are to be made by moderate lowering, a tidy set of alloys and some good tyres.
So why do they insist on slamming it, fitting either massive alloys or the smallest alloys they can get their hands on (They can get more 'lows' with smaller wheels) and then to make it worse they fit tyres that are too small? I don't get it?

What they've done is completly ruin the handling and saftey of the car Ford spent millions trying to perfect. You wouldn't downgrade your brakes would you? So what makes it acceptable to downgrade the handling?
Back early in the year while outside laning it down the M4 one morning a MK4 Astra running camber and stretched tyres had a tyre pop off the bead and spin out infront of me. Scared the absolute crap out of me and was lucky that Ford equipped the Mondeo with such awesome brakes from the factory. otherwise I would have come a cropper! Actually I think I might downgrade them, will MK3 Mondeo front brakes fit?

It's fucking shit. Make it faster, handle and perform or generally improve it I get. Screwing up everything about how the car drives, handles and stops to get "scene points" just makes you a cunt.

And don't even start me on this tyre stretching bollocks.

Only thing you have to say is it does look clean.

 

the sad thing is that somebody has spent a lot of money on that car
and end the end reult is a car that looks like its sat in primer with wheels that are still waiting for their tyres to grow into them

 

that's pretty much the VAG scene all over, its probably same with other brand scenes but u see a lot of it with VAG cars, I was part of the scene but I had moderate lows and proper tyres on my car fitted the wheels like they should have, what makes laugh about silly stretch on tyres is they do it to stop the tyre from rubbing the arches but their wheels are refurbed every 5 mins as theres no protection to the lip of the wheel from the tyre

 

Its the FAG scene all over and its fucking gay.

The kind of emo cunts who have that kind of car will think they are better than everyone else and say "youre not in the scene mannn, youll never understand"

I think some of them can look pretty good and I get that its a different scene etc etc..
However, I just couldnt live with the immense hassle of it.

The thing I don't understand is a lad on my facebook has just lost his 4th sump this year. Comments on the picture of destoryed sump with all his oil all over the road are things like "legend", "go low or go home " people praising him for it?!

I just can't get my head around it?!?!

 

It does look different.Imo put a decent set of wheels on it raise the suspension a bit and it will look alot better
