The reason i bought a winter hack was incase i ended up going sideways everywhere and wrecked a decent car. So i would hardly want to go sideways everywhere intentionally!

Well thats how I thought my red estate was anyway I wailed my mate in his mk2 Escort running a pinto so to me it made it "shit hot" pmsl.

 

So did it have the supercharged V8 in it when you had it. That sierra was in street machine mag years ago.Ive got the mag with it in.

 

I've a real soft spot for Sierra estates, in fact a lot of estates, not sure why but some look cool as. I had a Sierra 2.0 Ghia estate for 3 days when i killed my 130 orion, i went everywhere fishtailing. It had a hole in the exhaust, shagged rear tyres, oil soaked boot carpet, a/c fans stuck on among its many issues i paid Ł300 for it from the roadside in the dodgiest housing estate in the area!

Anyway it was a 1.6L Estate with a freshly built engine and tbh it went like the clappers compared to other 2litre Cortinas I had been using at the time.No idea why though .

It was featured in street machine years ago , it's a 2.5 damlier v8 , pretty shit engine tbh but looks good

 

There was a few on ebay a few days ago.
