Default bad vibrations?!?!?!?

hi all i need some help

i bought a mk3 2.0 tdci mondeo (52 plate) the other week and after a week the dmf went

so after a day of struggling with it a new dmf, clutch and slave cylinder was fitted!!
now the problem is when i get above around 30mph the front end of the car shakes really bad (and i mean really bad) im sure its not the clutch out of alignment as it was all aligned properly with the correct tools!!

if i dip the clutch it stops? ive read on another site that it may be a drive shaft, now when the nearside drivshaft was removed my dad left the cup in the gearbox and the bearings on the cv joint had fallen off so presuming that these where supposed to be like that i just rested them back where they should have been (im not a mechanic btw) but im pretty sure they were not secure so im thinking maybe they have fallen off again when the joint was put back together??

anyway moral of the story is could this be the problem or is it likely to be something esle?!?!?

any advice would be appreciated!

It's definitely speed related and not related to the revs of the engine?? Ie does it happen if you hold the revs up in 2nd or 3rd?

yes ive tried to replicate it when stationary but it runs smoother than ever with the new dmf. it only seems to happen above around 30mph and gets worse the faster you go. but if i dip the clutch and just let it coast it smooths right out again

Maybe it's how you put it back together? Did all the driveshafts go back together after you reassembled the loose bits ok? Sounds like that could be your problem to me. Or the diff in the gearbox? If it only does it when clutch is engaged it has to be gearbox related. Have you checked engine and gearbox mounts also? Worth a look mate.

the 3 bearings on the drive shaft had come off and i literally just rested them on top of where they should have been, i think they could have easily dropped off and my dad was quite brutal getting it back on would this cause the shaking at speed though surely they would make a noise?

I'd be tempted to take it apart and go over everything and double check. It'll be worth it in the long run

Any thing to do with what got touched check it! I did a clutch in my mrs car an the drive shaft was a bastard to get back in. I thought it was done but when you turned right it shuddered. Had a look and the drive shaft wasn't in fully. Only by a couple of mm. So it's worth it for piece of mind
