Get the sump baffled. I wouldnt bother with a turbo tbh.Its more hassle than its worth.Or less you can get a Noble engine cause they use the same mondeo V6 but they have twin turbos.

As said, Noble did it with the later engines in the 220, but they didn't have the space issues of the Mondeo.

It's doable - but wouldn't be a particularly good track car. For the cash you'll spend on the engine, brakes and suspension you'd be better off just starting with an ST220, which will be much more at home on track even as standard.

Its not all about power when it comes to track cars. You need good brakes decent tyres and decent suspsion.

I would agree with upgrading the handling characteristics. I have an ST24 which I was debating on track use, but I am now thinking maybe hill climbing.

Think it would be cheaper to supercharge than turbo but even then the few grand you spend doing that you could probably buy a clio 172 with sensible mods that would be just as good as a track weapon

I'd seriously consider the money you will plough into it where you could get a simple little Zetec-S or 106GTI and have so much more fun for way less money..

Keep the ST200 as a daily..
