2.0 petrol hi ace cuts out when revved hi

Hi chaps staying with friends in Australia he has a 1978 2.0 petrol hi ace camper when revved hi it cuts out but at low revs and on idle its good any ideas?

Fuel starvation would be my guess,may need to richen the mix a bit.

Is the air filter and fuel filter been changed recently.
